1979 - 1989:   Music studies at the Graz University of Music and Drama Art
1980, June 4th:   Leaving examination (Matura) in Graz

1981 -1990:  Student of Geology and Palaeontology at the Graz University and Technical University of Graz. Student of Music. Participation in several international master courses for Early Music (Baroque oboe, woodwind instruments of the renaissance)

1990 Marriage with my wife Ursula Hubmann
1990, November 15th:   Ph.D. degree for Geology and Palaeontology at the Graz Karl-Franzens-University
