Research interests
My research interests lie in the field of number theory (with emphasis on algebraic number theory), commutative algebra and arithmetic algebraic geometry.
At the moment, my reseach concentrates on the following topics:
Diophantine Equations:
Investigation of families of Thue-equations and Thue-inequalities, using Baker's method and the hypergeometric method of Thue and Siegel.
Recent interests: Thue-equations over function fields in one variable, generalization of Thomas's conjecture

Galois module structure of algebraic number fields
Investigation of the additive Galois module structure of (relative) extensions of Abelian number fields (local and global). [Collaboration with Nigel P. Byott (University Exeter, GB) and Sergei Vostokov (University St. Petersburg, RU)]
