Curriculum Vitae

Born on march 27 1929 in Graz, Austria. I studied physics and mathematics at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. My thesis was supervised by Paul Urban at Institut f. Theoretische Physik. I graduated as Dr. phil. in 1953.
I worked at Institut f. Theoretische Physik in Graz (1953-54, 1955-58), Max Planck-Institut f. Physik in Göttingen (1954-55), Max Planck-Institut f. Physik in München (1958-63, 1964-69) and at Massachusetts Inst. of Technology in Cambridge (USA)(1963-64).
