I am a Lise Meitner Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut für Slawistik and Institut für Germanistik at the University of Graz, employed in the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) project M 3361-G “Deriving Discourse Configurationality of East Slavic”.

My research up to date has focused for the most part on issues of argument structure, quantification and the interface between syntax and other modules of grammar, as well as the mapping to Information Structure. My most recent projects involve work on Object Shift in Ukrainian, the Realization of Givenness and Focus in Discourse Configurational Languages, the relation between aspect and argument structure in East Slavic as well as the phenomenon of scope freezing. All of these strands of research have come together in new ways in my current work in the Lise Meitner project, which you can read more about on this page. 

I am currently co-editing two Special Collection issues at Glossa: a journal of general linguistics, The syntax of argument structure alternations across frameworks (with Isabel Oltra-Massuet and Ángel L. Jiménez-Fernández) and
