Theoretical intermediate- and high-energy nuclear physics; perturbative quantum chromodynamics (in particular the role of diquarks in exclusive processes); the (electromagnetic) structure of hadrons; relativistic treatment of constituent quark models within point- and front-form dynamics; exclusive photo-and electroproduction of mesons; classical integrable systems (in particular soliton equations).
