About me

Albert Göschl studied Italian and Philosophy at the Universities of Graz (Austria) and Siena (Italy). He finished his dissertation, entitled “The Logic of Essayistic Thought. An Analysis of Italian Essay-Writing Between Fin de Siècle and the Second World War in View of its History as a Genre,” in 2014. The dissertation was published in 2016 and got awarded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Göschl's research interests include metapoetry and genre theory, as well as intercultural learning. Since 2015, he is Research Assistant in the Department of Romance Languages at the University of Graz.
