Administrative activities

Tasks in the central departmental administration

An important part of my work is to support the central administration of the department.

At the Institute, I am responsible for approving procurements and for planning the annual budget.

This concerns the central budget of the department.

My role as deputy for the SAP input of orders, invoices etc. is also closely interwoven with budget management.

This applies primarily to the central departmental budget, but also to the third-party funded research projects of the individual research groups if required.

Registration for courses and the allocation of seminar places and assignment to course groups takes place every semester.

This includes the administration of the keys for the majority of the institute, more precisely for the part that is housed at the main location (Universitätsplatz 2).

This category includes, for example, the regular provision of data for Statistik Austria or for the research infrastructure database of the Ministry of Science and Research.
