My broad research interests relate to empirical research and applied econometric methods mainly focus on:

• Determinants of innovation and exports;
• Finance-growth nexus and development of European small and medium-sized enterprises: access to finance, financial constraints, innovation and competitiveness;
• Gender issues related to financial markets;
• Financial and banking sector: productivity and efficiency.

I have extensive experience as coordinator and principal investigator of research projects and scientific coordinator of workshops. I have presented papers at many international conferences.
