Geochemical Characterization of Archeological Chert Artefacts

An interdisciplinary research project about archaeologicallithic artefacts and their mineralogical resources connectspetrological, geochemical and mineralogical methodswitharchaeological questions. At the moment this interdisciplinaryprojects comprises the Institute of Chemistry (University ofGraz), the Institute of Prehistory and historical Archaeology(University of Vienna) and the Institute of Oriental andEuropean Archaeology (Academy of Sciences).
