Professor of Philosophy and Philosophy of Science; Lecturer of „Philosophy and Philosophy of Science“ at the Vienna University of Technology; Member of „Leibniz-Sozietät Berlin“, Lecturer of „Technology und Ethics“ at the Graz University of Technology; Visiting Professor at the Danube University Krems, Member of the Commission of Research-PhD-Programs (Danube University Krems – Leeds Metropolitan University); Chairman of the „Commission for Scientific Integrity and Ethics“ at the Graz University of Technology; Honorary Professor of “Philosophy of Science“ at the Graz University of Technology. 

Research priorities: Interdisciplinary approaches for imparting between natural sciences, social sciences and humanities; theories of knowledge, knowledge production, knowledge diffusion and knowledge application; learning in the knowledge and information society; visiting professorships in USA and other countries.
