Danzer, Julia, Mag. Dr.rer.nat.
I am part of the Atmospheric Remote Sensing and Climate System (ARSCliSys) research group, which uses satellite-based methods to observe the Earth’s atmosphere. My research project StratoClim focuses in a first step, on the reduction of residual errors in the observed data (e.g., ionospheric influences) to produce high-quality atmospheric climate data. In a second step, the high-quality climate data are used to study wind fields under climate change.
Furthermore, I am part of the Carbon Management research group, where we work on innovative pathways for a low carbon transition, compliant with the Paris climate goals. In that respect, we accompany the University of Graz within the institutional carbon management framework, on her pathway towards net-zero and climate neutrality.
