I am an Associate Professor in the department of Romance Studies at the University of Graz (Austria), where I teach and do research in the domain of French and Spanish linguistics.
The current main focus of my research are the information structural features of Spanish depictive secondary predicates (which were also the topic of my habilitation project) and French orphan prepositions. I received the venia docendi for Romance linguistics in december 2017. I wrote my doctoral dissertation on the diachronic development of French anticausatives at the universities Stuttgart and Paris 8 (I defended the dissertation in october 2008).
