About me

I got my Master's degree in General Linguistics at the University of Vienna in 2017 (Thesis topic: The interpretation of superlative numeral Modifiers in English and German). Since 2018, I am a PhD student and university assistant at the Karl-Franzens-University of Graz. In my dissertation, I develop a new analysis that can capture correlations between additive particles, quantifier particles and comitative constructions. The survey comprises data from German, Finno-Ugric and Slavic languages. In 2021, I got my Master's degree in Literary Studies at the Germanistic Department of the University of Vienna (Thesis topic: Endogame Strukturen in den Erzählungen Adalbert Stifters).
My main research interests include topics at the syntax-semantics interface, such as quantifiers, complement anaphora, feature agreement, (epistemic) modal adverbs, particles, (fake) indexicals and pronominal binding in ellipsis.
Current research projects: additive particles, exceptive constructions, epistemic vs. concessive interpretations of at least, comitative constructions/phi-feature agreement in Finno-Ugric and Slavic languages
