My research interests
Interaction of plants with the (abiotic) environement are in the center of my research interests and are also topics of my lectures (bachelor Biology and master Plant Sciences).
Plant physiology and functional plant anatomy dominate my research interests.
Microspore embryogenesis deals with the reprogramming of young (male) microspores and is a topic in developmental biology.
Plant (outer and inner) surface structures are mainly studied using Scanning electron microscopy.
